This 2022 Cook Islands $20 Steampunk - Nautilus 3oz Antique Silver coin is graded a MS70 by NGC and is a First Releases Label. This coin has a very limited mintage of only 888 and comes with a themed box and Certificate of Authenticity.
With the 3rd edition of the Steampunk series, we dive deep into the fantastic underwater world known from Jules Verne’s "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". Having left the legendary Nautilus in deep-sea diving gear, we encounter giant sea snails, turtles, octopuses and shipwrecks. Of course, we also come across the series regular – the penny-farthing rider.
The obverse features a right facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "COOK ISLANDS", and "20 DOLLARS". The obverse also features mechanical detail and "STEAMPUNK".
The reverse features a deep sea diver submerged in the deep sea surrounded by sea creatures and a shipwreck. In the background is Jules Verne's Nautilus popping out of the coin.
