Shipping & Returns

Effective Date: June 15, 2026

This Shipping & Returns Policy applies to purchases from Elite Coinage Co. (“Elite Coinage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through elitecoinage.com, elitecoin.co, forym.co, and our other Services. It is part of our Terms of Service. Because we sell collectibles and precious-metal products, a few items are handled differently—please read the Returns section carefully.

1. Shipping

1.1 Where and how we ship

We ship within the United States, and we offer free standard shipping on eligible orders within the continental U.S. Orders ship from the United States using trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Shipping options, timeframes, and any costs are shown at checkout.

1.2 Processing time

Most in-stock orders are processed within a few business days after payment is verified. Orders may take longer during high-demand periods, for pre-orders or made-to-order items, or when additional payment or fraud verification is needed. Estimated delivery times are provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed.

1.3 Insurance and signature on delivery

Shipments are insured against loss or damage in transit until carrier-confirmed delivery to the address you provide. For security, higher-value shipments may require an adult signature on delivery. Please make arrangements to receive your package; if a carrier makes delivery (or obtains a signature) as instructed, that completes delivery.

1.4 Risk of loss

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide. Please enter your shipping address carefully—we are not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.

1.5 Delivery issues, refusals, and special addresses

Once a package leaves our facility, delivery timing is in the carrier’s hands. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, natural events, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control. Please note:

  • Refused or undeliverable packages. If you refuse delivery, decline to provide a required signature, or a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will treat it as a return once we receive it. Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable, and bullion or market-priced items remain subject to the market-loss terms in Section 5.
  • Signature requirements. Higher-value shipments may require an adult signature. If a signature is required and you or the carrier waive, redirect, or bypass it, you accept responsibility for the package at that point.
  • Package and freight forwarding. We do not ship to, and are not responsible for items sent through, package-forwarding or freight-forwarding services. Once a package is delivered to a forwarder or any address you designate, risk of loss has passed to you and our insurance and guarantees no longer apply.
  • P.O. boxes. Some carriers and higher-value or insured shipments cannot be delivered to P.O. boxes; we may require a physical street address.
  • Military APO/FPO addresses. Where we are able to ship to APO/FPO addresses, delivery times are extended, tracking may be limited, and certain insurance and signature options may not be available.

2. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Please inspect your package at delivery. If it arrives damaged, or if it does not arrive, contact us promptly at cs@elitecoinage.com—and within 5 business days of the delivery date (or the expected delivery date for a missing package)—so we can help and, where applicable, file an insurance claim. Please keep all packaging and materials and, if possible, send photos of the package and contents. We may need to complete a carrier or insurance investigation before issuing a replacement or refund. We are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage after carrier-confirmed delivery.

3. Returns

3.1 30-day return window

Most eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, subject to the conditions below and the exceptions in Section 4. Items must be returned in their original, unaltered condition and packaging—including any grading holders or slabs (uncracked and intact), certificates of authenticity, capsules, boxes, and inserts. The 30-day return period begins on the delivery date shown by the carrier’s tracking record.

3.2 Return authorization

All returns require prior authorization. To start a return, email cs@elitecoinage.com with your order number and the item(s) you’d like to return, and we’ll send return instructions. Please do not ship anything back before you receive authorization; unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.

3.3 How to return

Pack items securely in their original packaging and ship them fully insured using a trackable method, following the instructions we provide. You are responsible for return shipping and insurance unless the return is the result of our error (for example, a wrong item or an item materially not as described). We recommend insuring the return for its full value; you are responsible for items lost or damaged on their way back to us.

3.4 Inspection

When we receive a return, we inspect it to confirm it matches the item we sent and meets the conditions above. Returns that arrive opened, altered, removed from their grading holder, damaged, incomplete, or outside the return window may be refused or may qualify for only a partial refund. Our determination after inspection is final, subject to applicable law.

3.5 Refunds and timing

Once a return passes inspection, we issue your refund to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post it. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs are your responsibility, except where the return is due to our error. Refunds may be reduced for missing items, damage, market-loss adjustments, restocking fees where applicable, shipping and insurance charges, payment-processing costs where permitted, or other amounts you owe.

3.6 Chargebacks and payment disputes

If something is wrong with your order, please contact us first—most issues are resolved quickly and far faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute in bad faith—for example, after you have already received a refund, replacement, or store credit; while keeping the Product; or for an item you returned that does not match what we sent—is a breach of our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to investigate and contest improper chargebacks with evidence, to recover amounts owed (including the value of Products not returned and related costs), to withhold or offset refunds against disputed amounts, and to suspend or close accounts associated with chargeback abuse or fraud.

4. Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items

The following are generally not returnable:

  • items returned after the 30-day window;
  • items that have been opened, handled beyond ordinary inspection, used, altered, cleaned, or removed from their original grading holder or packaging;
  • items missing their certificate, capsule, holder, box, or inserts;
  • custom, personalized, or made-to-order items;
  • special-order, sourced-on-request, pre-order, or reserved items where identified as such at purchase;
  • items sold in sealed mint, manufacturer, or tamper-evident packaging that have been opened, unsealed, cut, removed, or altered;
  • items clearly marked as final sale or non-returnable at the time of purchase; and
  • bullion and market-priced products, as described in Section 5.

5. Bullion and Market-Priced Products

Bullion and other products whose price is based on the live precious-metal market are sensitive to price movements that are outside our control. Because of this, these items are generally not returnable. If we agree, in our discretion, to accept a return or cancellation of a bullion or market-priced item, it will be subject to a market-loss adjustment—meaning that if the current market price is below the price you paid, you are responsible for the difference—and may also be subject to a restocking fee. Market-loss adjustments are calculated solely to protect Elite Coinage Co. from market movement and do not entitle the customer to market gains after cancellation or return. We will explain any applicable market-loss charge or restocking fee before processing such a return. We may also designate specific bullion or market-priced products as final sale at the time of purchase, in which case they are not returnable except where required by law.

6. Order Cancellation

You may request to cancel an order before it ships by contacting us promptly; we will try to accommodate, but we cannot cancel an order once it has shipped. As described in our Terms of Service, Elite Coinage Co. also reserves the right to cancel an order before shipment for lawful reasons, including pricing errors, inventory issues, payment or fraud concerns, and market volatility. If we cancel an order you’ve already paid for, your sole remedy is a refund of the amount you actually paid; cancellations of bullion or market-priced items may be subject to the market-loss terms in Section 5.

7. International Orders

Where we offer international shipping, you are the importer of record and are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, brokerage, and fees charged by your country, which are not included in our prices and are not refundable by us. International deliveries may be delayed by customs. For international returns, you are responsible for return shipping, insurance, and any duties or fees, and items must clear customs back to us before a refund is issued; the conditions and timing in Section 3 otherwise apply.

Popular Questions for New Collectors

Learn about rarity, grading, storytelling, and collectible culture.

What makes a collectible valuable?

A collectible's value usually comes from a combination of rarity, cultural significance, condition, craftsmanship, and collector demand. Limited mintages, official licensing, historical moments, and premium materials can all increase long-term desirability. The strongest collectibles often tell a story people care about for years.

What does "limited mintage" mean?

Limited mintage means only a fixed number of pieces will ever be produced. For example, a release with a mintage of 500 means only 500 exist worldwide. Lower mintages can increase scarcity, which collectors often value over time.

Why does rarity matter in collectibles?

Rarity affects how difficult a collectible is to obtain. When demand remains strong and supply is limited, collectors often place greater value on the piece. Rarity can come from low mintages, special editions, unique finishes, or historically important releases.

What's the difference between bullion and collectibles?

Bullion products are primarily valued for their precious metal content, like gold or silver weight. Collectibles combine precious metals with artistry, storytelling, licensing, rarity, and cultural relevance. Their value may come from both metal content and collector demand.

Why do collectors grade coins and collectibles?

Grading authenticates a collectible and evaluates its condition using industry standards. Third-party grading companies like NGC and PCGS assign numerical grades that help collectors understand quality, preservation, and market value.

What do grades like MS70 or PF70 mean?

MS stands for "Mint State" and PF stands for "Proof." The number is based on a 70-point grading scale, where 70 represents a nearly flawless example. Higher grades are generally more desirable because fewer collectibles achieve them.

What's the difference between proof and mint state?

Proof collectibles are specially manufactured using polished dies and planchets to create highly detailed finishes and mirror-like surfaces. Mint state collectibles are standard production strikes intended for circulation or release, though premium mint state examples can still be highly collectible.

What makes licensed collectibles special?

Officially licensed collectibles are authorized by the brand, franchise, estate, or organization they represent. Licensing adds authenticity and connects the collectible directly to the original story, character, event, or cultural moment.

Are collectibles a good long-term hobby?

For many people, collecting combines history, art, nostalgia, and community into a rewarding lifelong hobby. Some collectibles may appreciate in value over time, but most collectors enjoy the experience of owning pieces connected to moments and stories they care about.

Should I collect what I love or what may increase in value?

The best collections usually begin with personal passion. Many experienced collectors recommend buying pieces that genuinely excite you first. Long-term value often follows collectibles tied to meaningful stories, iconic franchises, and strong collector communities.

What should a first-time collector buy?

A great first collectible is one connected to a franchise, historical event, or theme you genuinely enjoy. New collectors often start with limited-edition pieces that combine strong design, storytelling, and approachable pricing.

How should I store collectibles?

Collectors usually protect items from moisture, direct sunlight, scratches, and extreme temperature changes. Display cases, protective capsules, and certified holders can help preserve long-term condition and appearance.

Why are some collectibles legal tender?

Some collectible coins are officially issued by sovereign mints with assigned face values, making them legal tender. However, their collectible and precious metal value is often significantly higher than the stated denomination.

What makes a collectible historically important?

Historically important collectibles often commemorate major events, cultural milestones, scientific achievements, iconic figures, or globally recognized franchises. Their significance grows when the story remains meaningful across generations.

What makes a collectible exclusive?

Exclusivity can come from limited production numbers, premium finishes, special packaging, artist collaborations, signed editions, or restricted release windows. Exclusive releases often appeal strongly to dedicated collectors.

How do collectors know a collectible is authentic?

Collectors often verify authenticity through official licensing, trusted dealers, certificates of authenticity, grading services, serialized numbering, and reputable mint or manufacturer documentation.

What's the difference between silver and gold collectibles?

Silver collectibles are often more accessible for new collectors and allow broader participation across fandoms and themes. Gold collectibles are typically rarer, produced in smaller quantities, and valued for both their craftsmanship and precious metal content.

Why do some collectibles sell out quickly?

Strong collector communities, limited mintages, cultural relevance, exclusive licensing, and high-profile launches can all increase demand. Once a release sells out, collectors often turn to secondary markets to acquire pieces they missed.

Can modern collectibles become future classics?

Many modern collectibles become highly sought after over time, especially when they capture iconic franchises, important cultural moments, or breakthrough artistic design. Long-term relevance often depends on enduring fan passion and scarcity.

What makes FORYM different from traditional collectibles?

FORYM focuses on premium collectible storytelling — combining iconic franchises, historic moments, precious materials, and limited-edition craftsmanship into curated releases designed for modern collectors. The goal is to create pieces that feel culturally meaningful, display-worthy, and lasting.

Does condition really matter?

Yes. Condition plays a major role in collectible desirability and market value. Even small differences in preservation, surface quality, or packaging condition can significantly impact collector demand.

What is a proof finish?

A proof finish is a premium minting technique designed to create exceptional visual detail. Proof collectibles often feature mirror-like backgrounds and frosted design elements that create strong contrast and display appeal.

Why do collectors care about packaging?

Original packaging can enhance presentation, authenticity, and long-term collectibility. Premium packaging also helps protect the collectible and contributes to the overall ownership experience.

What makes fandom collectibles so popular?

Fandom collectibles allow people to celebrate stories, characters, and moments they emotionally connect with. Strong fan communities often increase demand and create lasting collector enthusiasm around iconic franchises.

How do collectors build meaningful collections?

Many collectors build around themes they personally enjoy — such as space exploration, sports, entertainment, history, or specific franchises. A focused collection often becomes more meaningful and visually cohesive over time.
