The Star Wars™ Helmets Silver Coin Collection continues in 2021. This first release features the helmet of the highly efficient Clone Trooper™ - which is a cross between the classic Boba Fett™ helmet and a Stormtrooper helmet, and why you see a strong T-visor. A 2oz pure silver coin, it is unique in that it follows the outline shape of the helmet rather than being a traditional round.
Clone Troopers were originated on the planet Kamino™ from the genetic template of bounty hunter Jango Fett™ and made into a highly-efficient military force. At the time of their introduction, the Clone Troopers represented the future of galactic warfare. Far superior to battle droids, they formed the backbone of the Republic's new military that waged war against the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. So symbolic were they of the times, the galaxy-wide conflict that saw their debut took its name from their ranks: the Clone Wars.
The use of Ultra-High Relief Minting techniques helps to create more depth to this Clone Trooper helmet coin. The obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, to confirm it as legal tender and therefore a limited-edition collectible.
The coin is protected by a coin capsule nestled in black velvet inside an impressive coin case. When open, it showcases the 3D aesthetic of the coin. The Certificate of Authenticity, confirming the silver purity and limited mintage, sits inside this case. Along with the Star Wars themed outer box, this is an incredible collectible!
