This colorized silver foil produced by The Coin Company is an homage to one of the greatest science fiction fantasy films ever made, "Back to the Future." In the more than three decades since its release in 1985, the film has developed a loyal cult following, and has expanded into comic books, video games and even theme park rides. Imagery of the foil is based upon the technical specifications of Emmett "Doc" Brown's amazing DeLorean time machine, and his innovative Flux Capacitor device.

Spectacular Colorized Silver Foil

Obverse: The obverse is styled to appear as a technical manufacturing blueprint drawing, featuring side, front and rear views of Doc Brown's time-traveling DeLorean, with construction notations. At the center of the foil is a graphic of the Flux Capacitor, the ingenious fictional device that launches the vehicle into time, when the target speed of 88 MPH is reached. The design includes the orange and yellow "Back to the Future" logo.

Reverse: The iconic "Back to the Future" logo is located on the reverse, with the inscriptions "35 GRAM," "AG 999" and "175 x 262 mm" below. The entire background of the foil is adorned with a smaller version of the logo, in a diagonal, repeating pattern. Additional inscriptions include copyright and confirmation that the foil is an officially licensed product.
